Self Care

Currently, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, our resources are limited. However, there are multiple online resources for practicing self care, including virtual sports and zoom classes with UNIGE, Student Services with the Institute, and others. We hope to update these as often as we can, as they often change each semester.

Resources offered by Student Services at the Institute

Psychological and Medical Support

The Institute currently has a variety of resources listed on their Psychological and Medical Support page, including: Wellbeing and Support counselor appointments, in-house psychologist appointments, as well as recommendations to external sources such as Pôle Santè, HUG, workshops at the University of Geneva, and other wonderful resources. We highly encourage you to check the attached webpage or contact student.support@graduateinstitute.ch if you are in need of psychological or medical assistance.

Self-Care in Times of Social Unrest

In addition, there is wonderful resource from Texas Tech University addressing self-care during times of social unrest, which we will attach below.

We hope to continue updating this page to offer helpful and realistic advice in terms of self-care, and our team is always at your disposal. Furthermore, our welfare contact is available if you need someone to speak to or need support.

Remember to always rest when you need it.
